Thanks Rakuen Translations for bringing this until the end. The ending a little bit rushed, but then again I'm mostly here for all the manga/LN/anime industry story. Finally Tomoya and Utaha become a normal boy and girl, not a manager and writer.

@relic626 most beta self cuck MC manga with 'romance' attached to them up, end up with the MC and FMC becoming couple at the end, VERY rarely do you see them having sex.

Just because he had sex doesn't mean it was a good ending, idk what you think is good quality ending but I can assure you that this isn't. Better than most mangas that ended recently though. And props for author not making him act flustered like a 5th grade virgin at the ending scene.

Good chapter and I really enjoyed the series as a whole. But this ending... leaves a lot to be desired. An epilogue would do this manga a lot of good, because it doesn't really feel like like an ending at all.

Also, a big thank you to Rakuen Translations for finishing this for us! I really enjoyed the ride!

Kasumigaoka Utaha, My no.1 fav character in this series. The ending feels like it could use a prologue, buts its the best. At least its not the kind of ending thats like infinite stratos n tomoya isnt an idiot and notices utaha or something like that.

While Im 'happy' with the ending of this (alt?) side story, the feel isn't there.

However, as a note to all those who claim it sucks, or that the MC is a beta suck... I have to wonder how many series you spread that opinion across.

Now, for my real view.

It almost feels like the mangaka was making a commentary on their own ending with Utaha's 'existing' end of her story that had to be re-written. It was like they where all dolls just following a set of instructions. Mix cake, throw it in oven, see what happens.

While I'd love to see a epilogue or two, it might actually do more damage (I'd read it anyways). I mean look at it this way.

It seems all other girls have 'given their blessing' or 'will let it slide for the night, this one time' and the 'managers' or 'editors' are turning a blind eye that 'nothing will happen anyways'.

And then something does... at least there's that much credibility to is.

As endings go, I have to give it a 5.5/6 out of 10... not fab, not terrible, just 'went with the flow'.
