Saihate no Paladin

I like this style of isekai. Most show you a guy getting dumped into a fantasy world and neglect to use his being from another world for the rest of the story. This one makes the main's past identity a mystery - an interesting mystery since it likely has something to do with his situation.

Alright first things first, what the hell does being the God of Technique mean??? The rest of them make some sort of sense but "technique" is such a vague concept that applies to almost everything.

That aside, this seems like a cool isekai story. I think what sells it to me is that there're no pretensions that this is a living breathing world. This world comes across as some sort of twisted limbo to me. I feel like this world was created for the sole purpose of being the protagonist's home. I'm not actually familiar with the ln so I haven't a clue where this is going, but there is some level of creativity on display here.

The story-telling is also pretty solid too as far as I can tell. I never read the exposition about the world's history in most fantasy stories because they're always so dull and pointless. I actually found myself sort of intrigued here so that's gotta be a plus. I'm feeling good about this one, can't wait to see more.

@Aretheus
Translation sounds a little of, but it was probably meant to be "God of Craft".
If you're interested, I can't recommend enough the LN, like other people already did

We made some changes! And we hope you like them :D Feel free to report problems you may find here or even better join us in our discord!

Also, we tried matching the english LN names but we're in a bit of a pinch for the next chapters because none of our staff members have read the english LN. So if someone that read it could help us with the names for the next releases we would be immensly grateful ! Just join our discord ( /SffgfVg ) and PM me or Kaze.

I feel like when he turns 18 all 3 will tell him they've all been a figment of his imagination

Heh. Finally one of the few good isekai that got a manga adaptation is being translated. But in all honesty I see nothing wrong with it. Heard from some people that the manga is a waste because some elements differ a little from the source material. OK, it's not perfect, but already condemning it is foolish.

I'll get right to it: I have an announcement for you all. The Faraway Paladin is getting a comic! It will be published in the Overlap web comic magazine Comic Gardo. The one in charge of the comic will be Mutsumi Okubashi, who drew the comics for Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash and Kado: The Right Answer! I've already had a look at the storyboard and it gave me a kind of nostalgic feeling to see Blood, Mary, and Gus, drawn with such a delicate touch, raising Will so energetically. I would be very happy if you could enjoy it hand-in-hand with the novels.

From the translated afterword from volume 4 of the novels.

interesting that we get worldbuilding first and then the reincarnation cycle is hinted to be built into the worldbuilding
