Hate mc tho, idc that he’s isekai’d, he is in another world so there are obviously other rules, feels really bad for sister, she did nothing wrong from the beginning she always was respecting and helping him, that selfish cunt MC running away like that, for real. Imagine for 14-15 years you know that u will marry someone and u love him, but he f*cking runaway because he is selfish piece of sh*t. At least he should try more to solve this problem, maybe next one try run away by killing ur self so you won’t have to face any problems stupid MC

That's a messed up view on things.
Ones culture shouldn't define who you are to marry.
If anything It should only help you in finding the one you love.
If you don't love someone then forcing them into marriage is a terrible thing to do.
He loves her as sister, and nothing they do should change how he feels about her.
It's the main reason arranged marriages are not really a thing anymore.
Because with so many people running away from, killing themselves, and eloping that there really wasn't a point.
I'm on the MC's side in that they didn't even ask his opinion on the marriage.

@ThatOneJester I think that u don't understand something. From the point of view of his parents it's normal for the siblings to marry, like u know, you grew up in an environment where it's obvious that marrying sister is not normal etc. but in that other world (actually that village) it was just a fact that siblings have to marry and for sister and parents that were rised there that was something very normal and because of the fact that MC was closed in his room all the time thinking only about totems and didn't even communicating with others too much he didn't know about that and his habits from his previous world were telling him it's not normal too. So they didn't asked him for his opinion because it was just normal, they propably thought that he already know about that from the beginning. Like if u were born on another planet with other rules, absolutely without any knowledge and old habits like you have here, you would propably think that everything there is normal. The same thing is here for the peope living in that place the MC is that weird not normal guy.

Anyways a different world does imply different genetics. The common sense aspect is something the MC really should've paid attention to.
Even if his father perhaps failed to tell him, all the signs earlier really should've sparked some questions if he cared even a little.
I suppose different world morality and all. Someone earlier argued that if you were in a different world and you were told it was normal to marry someone who you weren't even remotely attracted to / it being taboo to you. Eh attraction isn't so much the main point. And you'd be surprised how much humans are willing to adapt to.

I can understand MC honestly, he was raised in a different culture and nobody told him this particular aspect of their culture. Besides escaping unwanted marriage is a tale as old as time, and teenagers are impulsive. If they just told him he is engaged to his little sister much earlier he might have come to terms that indeed that is the culture he is currently being raised into and accept however reluctantly.

Although you can say he should have talked with the family, he did voice his objection and they rejected that notion and sped up the timetable precisely to force him, so he saw no choice but to escape.

just because it's a different world doesn't mean biology doesn't exist. they are in the middle ages so they don't have knowledge of the damages inbreeding can do. it was common for villages to have inbreeding, but that didn't mean the danger didn't exist. On top of that the main character has explained several times that his is physically weaker then average which is likely a result of said inbreeding.
and this is only One ISOLATED villages custom.

@HermesPasser She stole the magic stone to brake the truck totem in case MC tried to run so... lets say she was already scarred since a while. Which as a yandere history makes sense. Doesn't have any friends besides his brother and just focus on him
