@monkey123 Yep. With how strong some people are and the exitence of areas that don't have beasts that strong, you'd think they would capture some beasts to use in controlled fights. Then simulate the forests/areas where you fight beasts so you can use the terrain to your advantage or some shit. But nope, just send'em after some mock battles and studying. I'm sure it'll be fine.

As I see it , they are considered expendable by the authority since they are orphans. There may also be involved in political feud going on (see Game of Thrones) if some of the orphans are nobles .

Yeah, I agree with Jeirien. They're orphans. True, they have limited manpower for the war against the demon beasts, but they also have limited manpower for teaching the kids, much less CAPTURING varying levels of demon beasts and setting up the training regimen that you guys describe.

As for why they didn't send them somewhere with weaker beasts... What makes you think they didn't? They were fighting fucking rabbits and songbirds at the beginning. The fight then attracted a few larger ones that wiped the floor with them.
