@Taco-chan from whats been shown so far it looks as if she really liked him but chose her family. so with that said, her and her family are probably dead or her family is dead and shes either in hiding or jailed. but we could also never know what happens to her.

MC guessed that which is why he didn't defend himself from her and let her kill him, even when he was under the poison he still could have killed her effortlessly because he was that strong.
This part is MTL: apparently the assassin girl lost her mind because the brother was dead all along, the guys that send her on that mission didn't expect her to succeed so they got rid off her brother at some point, now I'm not sure if she just went crazy or killed herself but I think it's the former.

@Kuroageha How fucked up.
She killed the person she loved and ended up helping the people who caused her to suffer for nothing. She lost everything and probably blames herself for all of it. She's probably the most pitiful person in the story.
