I would have taken 100k gold for village repairs and "assorted expenses" as it doesn't seem like 50k gold is that much in that world enough for a country to go to war over.

MC should had killed him. He’s royalty and kings have no second chances...
I have mix feelings about the MC trusting their ‘integrity’ at first and then spews things like teaching them common sense.
So far I just see him as a cool uncle. It’s not bad
I like that he’s nice but he shouldn’t feel the need to help the Elves all the way through, he’s going to carry an entire race on his shoulder and he just doesn’t fit that type
