I hope some of you realize the difference between shooting at something in the distance with a magic spell w/o repercussion and being attacked by someone with the intent to kill. It's no different if you were some guy at a gun range, shooting for fun, and getting shot at by someone. You may have a gun, you may not, but you sure as hell are going to run away and panic, especially if it's not something you've experienced.

Do neither of you realize that if the lowest tier spell destroys a moon, you can't exactly use it in a confined space? Imagine for a second, a chunk the size of the moon missing from the planet. That sure sounds like a good way to resolve some guy trying to slash you with a sword.

@Kirin-kun I mean, the whole point of the series seems to be an idiot having unearned power he's too dumb to control. It's what's supposed to be enjoyable about the series, I guess other than that whole aspect about having nice things come to you without actually doing anything to earn them.

Too bad the beastman didn't kill the MC. Would serve that pushover just right. I mean come on, destroyed a moon a moment ago, scared like hell when seeing a guy with a teeny-weeny blade... Him being an idiot seems to be the point of this story, however in this case it's already pushing the limits of how stupid that trope is, when he, quite literally, destroyed a moon earlier and knows full well he was the one who did it. Also, he did already encounter a "powerful" enemy pretty much in the first chapter and won the fight. Yeah, he did mistake it for a filming set at the beginning, however by now he should have been able to realize it was reality (that is, as long as he's not brain dead). He's capable of dodging that guys attacks, and almost certainly capable of striking back, yet apparently instead he decides he can't win and tries to run away, completely forgetting everything that has happened in the past, because "reasons"?
