Any chance "Harfolk" could be "Halfolk" or "Half-folk" indicating a hybrid between the people and the Demi-humans/demons? (Slightly odd, with "Demi-humans" being used, but "Demi" seems to be indicating lack of value, not "Half" humans.) If so, his statement of "involvement" would probably mean he thought his Demi-human side was much less than 50% (probably 12.5% or less).

Pretty sure Harfolk is “Half-orc” as in the pig man monster. The hero has been called such before and this is probably them thinking he’s an orc with some human ancestors along the way.

Imagine some invaders confiscate your merch and give it claim tags to return it to you later. Would you believe that? I would have my doubts ever seeing it again. And even if it is returned I lose precious sell time, as my shop is closed. (Okay, the locals can't buy nor go anywhere else and buy stuff later on, but I lose out on all possible clients, that can't come from out of town.) I wouldn't stay calm.
