Saikyou Yuusha wa Oharai Hako: Maou ni Nattara Zutto Ore no Musou Return

I had my second thought about trying this manga because of the comments, but it turned out quite enjoyable. Not one of the best work but i feel no regrets reading it and looking forward for more chapters. It is bit slow paced but im cool with it. If you dont have fatphobia i think you will enjoy this one.

The art really is not the strong point of this manga, it have its own charm though. I love seeing the interactions between the characters.

This is the best hero. He teaches some humans a good lesson, when they bully monsters!

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

This is how a hero should be, none of this I can't change the world so I'll ignore evil. I gotta say this was refreshing and the proper response to encountering slavers.

Oh wow the MC actually is ugly, I've read multiple manga with a supposed ugly character but they've all looked perfectly ordinary. It's just like that "middle aged man" or "old man" that is in his late twenties or early thirties.

This alone makes the manga rather promising.

No harem tag here or on Novelupdates? Count me in!
Though it's incredibly annoying that the author went the "Ugly character? Make them overweight!" route though. Isekai Oujisan did it way better.

oh my god this mc is the embodiment of me
doesn’t care
no grudges
doesn’t like to get involved
just generally a laid back guy

I actually adore him. He's great. Doesn't go after minors, keeps calm, shows his emotions and isn't ashamed of them, and he acts his age.
I love him <3

This story could use some non-evil humans, really. Or antagonistic/evil demons.

It just turns a hatred of minority into a hatred of majority

All we ever see is "human bad demon good", it feels one-dimensional. Even the hero's moral dilemma feels weaker because he keeps cleaning out trash

I made a comment about liking the MC of this over a year ago hoping this wasn't going to be some wish fullfillment garbage, since I made that comment I haven't went back to this series and just waited for more scanlated chapters to pile up. Today I decided to read up to chapter 9 and I hate to say it, but I was wrong, this is hot trash and the art is even worse than I remember it being.

@gearsky
Story about a middle-aged dude who comes back from an isekai to find he's been in a coma for 17 years but still has all his Isekai powers (not that he actually uses them for anything productive).
The thing is, everybody in the place he went to was attractive whereas he's got something of a gaunt, sunken-in face. People kept mistaking him for an orc based solely on how he's incredibly ugly compared to what's typical for a human there (he doesn't look anything like your typical fantasy orc, mind).
