I thought it was rather a bit generic, but there's nothing especially objectionable going on either _{which, for yaoi, I will take as a genuinely meritorious in its own right XD}

And both characters are by and large friendly enough sorts, which in itself is nice, so there's that.

On a subtler note of criticism, whichever character wasn't narrating a given chapter often ended up feeling a little flimsy to me, somehow, especially once the romance got in full swing. Can't quite put my finger on why; something to do with some of the dialogue seeming a little unnatural to me, I think, or alternatively me not quite getting the thoughts that were supposed to go behind it.

You're probably missing out when you haven't read this. The art gives that shoujo feel and the proportions are superb. The story's development is not too fast, perfect for short reads and re-readers.
