Salad Days

Might be the biggest collection of "one-shots" I've ever seen under one title...

Good stuffs. One of the most reprinted manga in my country. Very popular during my middle school years to the point most of the girls in my class have read it.

edit: Just checked the last chapter and i'd say the translation isn't the best around, but don't let that get to you. I recommend grabbing the physical book if it's available if possible. Manga rental should be cheap nowadays.

Was it even published outside of Asia? All I can find is some links about the Taiwanese and Indonesian releases.

It's not precisely a collection of one-shots. If I remember right, there are some true one-shots but some of it is little groups of 2-3 chapters plus there are a fair number where there's a one-shot and then a few chapters or a volume or two later, they do another chapter about the same people, and maybe another a while after that. So like, a very very sprawling ensemble cast.
It's also . . . the tone reminds me of "Pastel" a bit. The exact opposite in pace, of course, since Pastel is incredibly slow. But that sort of innocent-yet-fanservice-y vibe, with male leads who are typically pretty dorky--not exactly wimps like the male lead of Pastel, but definitely the opposite of smooth. As individual stories most of them are in my opinion not terribly good. But there's something comforting about them; it's lighthearted stuff and young love does pretty well.

Yo, as mich as I appreciate the translator actually translating this...
They left a lot of room for improvement, and half the words in japanese.

So, in other words, this is oneshots teaming up against me and my "no oneshots" filter...

welp I used to have some of the physical comic books of these, back in middle high school 😭

bookmarking to read later, thanks for uploading <3
