@Anoon2323 yeah, originally i just used TL notes but it was getting ridiculous, eventually I came up with the gender markers and it’s really helped. It’s not a perfect solution, but with a manga like this, there is no real good way to convey the situations otherwise

I aslo should of added this. If hes been living as a guy, and comes into this new world as a girl. Why is he forcing himself to speak like a japanese girl ? I assume thats what hes been saying as Watashi intead of boku. There is no reason he should be using Watashi. For 1, hes not trying to hide hes a girl. Everyone knows. 2 , Hes not pretending hes a girl, its not like hes going to school or something where he has to act as one. He can simply get by, by talking like he usually does. Nothing to be pretending about. Thats part of the strangness I've concluded. I really hoping the author will give us answers to explain this. But since we havent heard zip about the girl in chapter 1. I think he wont. Another thing to brush over. The simple, oh he has a girl heart wont cut it.
