@HellShade it will just backfire to him. It will just make him a "dog with genuine human intelligence", and will be treated as a threat to human instead.

What he really need to do is "prove himself that he is actually genuine human" which end up in that kind of 'situation'. That way the researchers would move the experiment subject from "him" to "how did this case happen, how to prevent it, and how to cure it".

As someone already pointed out it seems to be inspired by an SCP. The whole point was for that SCP no matter what it did no one saw him as a human. It was a mimetic effect.

I assume at some point he actually became a dog right? Where did his clothes come from? How were they kept clean? Why couldn't he take his collar off? Why was he unable to at least write messages? It only makes sense if he was indeed partially delusional himself and was in fact a dog.

@ARealCoolGuy I believe the story is that he was always a dog, but saw himself as a human. Basically his self image is a human, but he's really a dog.

@Pancakie You're likely right, he doesn't mention school, family, friends or anyone. That definitely gives a more of an indication towards him being separate from human society, and likely being a dog all along.
