Sanpo Mono

A nice series. I visit Japan quite often and even in the big cities you can turn a corner, turn another corner, head up an alleyway and the history is still there, old wooden buildings covered in ivy two hundred yards from a major-league baseball stadium, a shrine dedicated to Sumo wrestlers in a corner of a park, a group of old stone lanterns in someone's urban garden. I love getting lost in places like that. Please continue, translator-san.

Written with a deep and introspective appreciation of Japan and its culture. This is excellent.

The contemplation of a middle aged man is... accurate.

It's like watching the world slowly passing you by.

Contemplative, reflective, and melancholy, Sanpo Mono moves at the leisurely pace of a weekend stroll and with the unsettling urgency of a life that’s glaringly yet indescribably incomplete.

thanks for translating this manga. Its chapters are short, but they give a unique perspective of every-day japan.
