@aFFi Better it ends before it overstays its welcome with nonsense drama. Lazier authors would start introducing love rivals, misunderstandings, and tragic breakups to pad out the chapter count.

I just imagined an alternate ending to this chapter where Satoru starts dating his kohai because being around Saotome hurts too much or similar angsty garbage, and 20 chapters later he gets cold feet again and tries going back to her. Repeat ad nauseum.
