Serious question here. Would it be hard to aim at solar plexus when there is boob involved?
If i am not mistaken solar plexus is located between the mammaries. So is it not wrong to need a degree of precision to hit the solar plexus like in this chapter.

should have just done a left hook to the head counter because that can actually work. Just look at how wakano's right arm is positioned there is absolutely no chance you're getting a heavy body blow inside of that as you see. that just doesn't happen like that. It could go behind but then that's just into ribs or oblique which boxers rarely get hurt by. oh well.

@Avenger88id Shouldn't matter because Women athletes use sports bras so their breasts should be far enough away, not to mention they don't usually have very proportionally large breasts in comparison with their body due to their training.
For a woman who is not an athlete, maybe if their breasts are very in relation with their body and they are wearing a bra that pushes the breasts together but doesn't push it high. Though in this scenario, the impact still goes through the breast with plenty of energy and a uppercut (punch that goes from down to up) mostly bypasses the extra "padding" so to speak

@Avenger88id It isn't, though. It's lower. Solar plexus is just below where your ribcage separates, right in that upside down "v" area. Note how your nipples (which on girls have boobs surrounding 'em) are significantly above that.
It's actually pretty hard to nail someone direct in the solar plexus though, man or woman, especially using gloved hands. It's small, and pretty easy to protect, and even just the angle of an opponent's body will tend to make it hard to hit clean. Now and then someone will get lucky, and if you do happen to land a solid blow there it's pretty decisive, but it's not something you've got a good chance at in a stand-up face to face fight.
Mind you, in other kinds of fight things can be different. I was trained to try for solar plexus with an elbow if grabbed from behind. Even there, the one time I tried it in real life it turned out to be . . . distinctly more difficult than in the dojo!

That's a good question. Is she disqualified or are they taking somehow points instead, to keep the strong fighters in? Because she is strong and all of them should face several opponents, so that the strongest fighter doesn't fluke out. As they said: They still have enough time to the Olympics.

And Blondie is taking the right strategy here. Even as it is fair to tell her straight on, that she is aiming for MC, telling her so may already be part of the strategy. If FMC becomes anxious she might become too jealous and drive him and herself apart with that. At least she might herself stress open holes, in what might be an impenetrable relationship otherwise. Good ntr tactic. But Saotome also should worry a little bit and show that, so that she doesn't look too indifferent to her hubby....She has to keep the balance...And in this Blondie already succeeded: She took the lightheartedness out of their relationship.

Best counter strategy? Telling him about what Blondie is trying to do, so that he can shoot her down himself. Set the roles: Blondie is the aggressor, she is the victim and he is the protector. Chances are the relationship between the aggressor and the protector are viewed as strained by the protector (him), which would drive a wedge between them and makes an "I'm so harmless" approach very hard to pull off.
