Forget Goku, Erlang is soooo handsome

As usual, Haji-sensei did a good job in combining romance, humor, and adventure in this manga. And the inclusion of the old gay couple is refreshing

. It shows that a same sex relationship could be a serious and long-lasting one, not only a fickle driven by physical attraction to each other.
However, I don't like the portraying of the uke. He has a lot of contradictive characteristics which don't make sense, e.g.:
1) He is portrayed like a maiden experiencing first love, blushing at the sight of his crush, overly conscious so he refuse to wear jewelry that he likes. Yet he dress provocatively with no trousers. WTF!!??
2) He also complains about buyers who often try to sexually harass him, yet again, he dress provocatively.
3) He never learn to fight, yet he can fight marvelously against a demon. This is not just about his physical strength. It's his fighting skill. How could he know how to use a stick as a weapon when he never learn to fight???
Overall, I feel the story is cut short to meet the intended length. I wanna see more of Erlang Shen. I wanna see him fall in love, courting, and finally marry the dragon princess. I also wanna read more about Goku and the gang. However, this manga clearly not mean to be a long one. Oh wel

.
On the bright sight, I finally realize that Goku is really handsome
