Satanophany - Vol. 7 Ch. 58 - Tendougumi

It still cracks me up that the manga keeps pretending Henry Lee Lucas is the most prolific serial killer in history.

I guess the most heinous murderer would be that killer schlong

@youdontknowwho the author problably saw a documentary on youtube/discovery before making this movie

BTW who was the worst serial killer? i mean worst than heny lucas (if you say hitler/stalin i swear to god i'm gonna smack you on the face)

I'm glad for that introductory first page since it's been a while since I last read this and I forgot things. But no need to re-read this from the beginning, I remember most things now. Well...maybe re-read the brother arc. Since that one's exposition dump and a pretty good one.

@Miros The thing is Henry Lee Lucas couldn't possibly killed that many people as he claimed. It's generally believed nowadays that most of his confessions are rubbish, and his kill count probably didn't exceed 30-40 people at the highest . Ultimately only 11 of his murders can be confirmed. He is dubbed "The Confession Killer" after all. And here we have this manga claiming he killed 360 people in total.

There are plenty of serial killers much worse than him. Recently FBI consider Samuel Little the most prolific serial killer in United States history, with at least 50 murders confirmed.

@youdontknowwho

I think the author relies on the fact that the average Japanese is not that well informed about Western stuff. The issue with Lucas is that his CLAIM is used to portray him as a monster, when in truth he was most likely average (for a serial killer anyway).

Same with the "Lewingdon brothers" (Seri and Maki's murder models), I have yet to find anything about these two and wonder if they ever existed to begin with.

Thaddeus' grave info.

@rhino36

So they did exist after all. Well that is good, Seri and Maki are among my favourite characters and they will become relevant later in the story.

Thank you for the link.
