Satanophany is about a shady for-profit prison that manipulates the courts to get young, attractive women sent to the island where it conducts human experimentation on their brains to turn them into famous murderers from history. They then fight to the death for the entertainment of wealthy elites.

Fucking hell, i've never hated a synopsis more in my life. Not even one word of it is even ACCURATE.

That said, if you like watching sexy girls torture each other, this is for you. Otherwise move along and save yourself some eye bleach.

Sad thing is, the series has a kickass subplot about Chika's lawyer brother trying to investigate the crime and the island. Incredible stuff, one of the more interesting mysteries I've seen in... Well in a lot of manga. But as interesting as the investigation is, everything else is FUCKING BORING. "We put the minds of killers into these girls bodies" Has so much potential, and every drop of it is wasted here. 2/10, do not read. On par with Munou no Nana.
