I'm a Muslim lady and I've never found anything wrong with small talks with any stranger much less my collegues.
Gotta add I've had my bachelor's degree in a gender segregated university.
@Gull i think its depends on the.. Countries? For example i am also a muslim women and i still talk with my male friend, its just we are not too close witj each other when talking. And there are other people there too
