Satoko to Nada - Vol. 2 Ch. 114 - Rahman

Would that be an "oil magnate mindset?" Seems more like a doting older brother's

@Ceiye while it seems doting I guess it's about the whole "being able to move and live on another country as if it was nothing"(, maybe)

@ReaperCreeper: The h letter is never silent in romanized Arabic unless it's terminal (digraphs like th are a different issue altogether), actually, so good luck getting the pun to work.

Oh, and the second a in Rahman is long (i.e. aa).

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that Rahman is not a valid name in Muslim cultures. My guess is that the author mistakenly thought the name Abdulrahman is a compound name (i.e. Abdul + Rahman), when it's actually a single name composed of two words (abd + al-Rahman), with the latter word being an epithet that is exclusive to God.

@MarqFJA87 actually, its a valid name. ar-Rahman is exclusive (notice the ar), but rahman is general. There are lots of people named Rahman.

@MarqFJA87 After doing some research, apparently its not good to use Rahman as name, even without the ar. Probably because of people's obliviousness, just like me sometimes ago, some people in south east asia are named as such.

@bai its not used by muslims at all so stop lying and apparently you're not even a muslim but you keep spewing nonsense its either Abdulrahman or none

@djamel90 Yes it is. In Pakistan there are loads of men called Rahman. My own uncle's name is Rahman. Speak for your own culture.

@akisame its forbidden in islam to call someone by allah names which are 100 names without adding abed. for example alrahman is allah name which means merciful so when some name it to someone you call him abed alrahman. you need to search more about this subject if you're muslim that is.
