Saving 80,000 Gold Coins in the Different World for My Old Age - Ch. 51

@Owyn some people in that very room like to serve their enemies polonium tea. @Lichon Also in WN Mitsuha actually tries it on agent with cancer and he comments how his body immediately felt better. Supposed to have happened between manga ch50 and ch51 but it was skipped in adaptation.

@moel it this wasn't FUNA la-la-land those two small countries that god fantasy metamaterials and mineral samples would experience sudden surge of rebels and imported winged democracy.

Thanks for the chapter!
It has proper English sentences and it's understandable. I can't complain.
(The worst I've seen is someone that machine translated from 2 languages and the words was worse than Yoda speak. Now that one was painful to read)

@labanina thanks for the WN insight. I'm always curious on what differences novels have.

@Owyn
Off the top of my head Borona pneumonia is still a very common cause of death even in the most developed countries.

@Satsuo
across the board, with VERY few exceptions, novels go into more detail and transition better, one big example where the manga is better is the one with tomo and mio, the forest oni area in the wn was horribly done due to the authors experimentation in style. I am willing to bet the novel is different, but this is just a rare example

also where you see manga skim things or something feels missing, there almost always is and its skipped for brevity or the manga is targeting a far younger audience and the either ero or brutal things are sidelined.

@labanina That doesnt make sense, cancer is simply your own cells broken and multiplying too fast. It isnt an infection. Of course when you do have cancer your immune system might be weakened, even more when going through chemo. So maybe that was what was cured, but nit the cancer itself...

@eng1 pretty sure her ability is as bullshit as the FUNA potion loli: Mitsuha could probably leave your SKIN or BALLS behind, much less some cancer cells.

@eng1
It's FUNA levels of averageness, of course she can and more
like build an geometrical artificial island with boulders

honestly, a fairly clever move to keep them quiet.
not the families bit, but setting them against each other.

#mathmango
Maybe the author read Orenchi ni Kita Onna Kishi and decided doing an arc like that would be hell so ...

lq or not i'm glad for the update; and the translation doesn't suck

refer to the WN or LN translation from novelupdates.com for the scene if you're having doubts

"are you picking this up? No"
"are you picking this up? Yes"
"are you picking this up? Maybe"

place bets on what the next chap's answer will be

@talas It is kind of chapter 51, I think everyone here knows what they're dealing with by now. I don't have anything better to do, do you?

They skipped the cancer removal scene, eh? I guess depicting lumps of unknown meat left on the floor after transporting is way too much for the mango.
