Saving 80,000 Gold Coins in the Different World for My Old Age - Ch. 59 - Popcorn 2

@GM_Rusaku thank you, I corrected it to Avaro
@YuriM Never heard of that before. I think Papago is the best, but it even detects the small Japanese text... which I need to remove

avaro seems correct, it means greedy in spanish and you know japanese just like to use words from other languages 'cuz they sound cool?

Popcorn really is a big money making business. It's pretty much the only reason why movie theaters can make a profit. The ingredients cost pennies and with the increase in volume after popping, it is almost pure profit.

$3 for a bag of popcorn which cost us 3 cents to make.

@TomMalufe and the best part? there's not a lot of people who hate popcorn. so imagine all that income going missing due to COVID. i heard some cinemas have been selling their popcorns for takeaway.

@Wolvenworks Too many sentence reconstructions to be made into automate process, lol. There's an application called Mantra Engine that actually does that though. @Ynscription wrote a program called Miharu Scan Helper that helps create a script for manga translation with translators built it.

I'm already using macro while doing this though, ahahaha.

@elezend Your interpretation of the hoodlum line looks correct.
I think the confusion comes from the next line where she says "駄目押ししとくか" which means something like "(why don't) I make doubly sure in advance"

It looks like you already have enough tools in your arsenal, but in case you want another I usually find Jisho.org is better than deepl/gtranslate for short japanese phrases or individual words.

Anyway, thanks for the translation!
