Saving 80,000 Gold Coins in the Different World for My Old Age - Vol. 1 Ch. 4

This manga makes no freaking sense. She started as a weak girl who just ran away in fear, then suddenly teleports, equips herself, comes back and fights off the world like a master would... And now she's back to weak and helpless ?

@Doenyon you could see what kind of Onii-san she had from the start, it gets cemented when you see his funeral picture, and that makes it believable that she might know how to defend herself with a simple knife.

@countrymage my issue isn't with her skills, it's that they are there, then a couple chapters later, somehow it seems like she forgets she has them. :)

@Doenyon Otaku knowledge is an ephemeral kind of thing, you don't really remember all the things you've ever Googled, unless you try to do some of them. It's not like the structured training the mercenaries gave her, it's her brother teaching her things on a whim, that he also learned on a whim.

@countrymage which she did put into practice in a masterfull fashion, and then somehow forgot the next day ? We're not talking googled stuff there. :)

@Doenyon these kinds of memories are gone as soon as you stop thinking about them, but if the right song starts playing in the background, a familiar scent wafts around you, and there's a rabid kangaroo barreling down on you....

@countrymage Oh shit, a random Kangaroo jumps on a poor op japanese isekai ! :D
That's the kind of people who should go to other worlds though, australians, they would just get there, see monsters and shit and just go "howdy !".
And they wouldn't care about rice, and soy sauce !

Wow, she found some random English-speaker in Japan and insta-learned English? That's pretty smart, didn't think it would go that way.

Are mercenary groups that easy to find? I haven't tried, so I don't know.

@Doenyon Forget what was being said about ephemeral otaku memories, because that was kind of off the mark as far as I'm concerned. I'd say it's more like she had the knowledge to barely survive a fight with a specific type of enemy and end up injured and unconscious for 5 days due to dumb luck. Now? She wants to train so she's actually good at this stuff in a much more broad, and general scope and won't get laid up for a week or so every time she fights anything, or worse. She's being smart and preparing for the future.

If you really think she's already skilled enough to survive future battles, go look at her terrible aim again with her slingshot there. First head shot? Dumb luck. Shot to a hip, no real effect. Shot the ground, wasted time and ammo. Hit a throat, dumb luck plus being much closer to the target. Not really a super skillful showing, was it?

@Gadak tanks-alot(dot)co(dot)uk/military-vehicles-for-sale

Its not the tanks that're the oroblem, its ammo.

The World-Travelling Loli Mercenary huh. Her high-performance self is like my smol cousins hahaha... ha.. haha... Sigh. They're doctors & sailor (sort of) & more. My siblings & I aren't as productive as them so yeah we're worlds apart by abilities.
