I love that the manga itself answered the criticism on the previous chapter that she said she wouldn't bring our tech to their world on the first damn page lol

She's so dumb. (lol) You've got to advertise. She should have taken out an ad in the local newspaper (or if there's some kind of town bulletin board, if they don't have the printing press yet), and also hired someone to stand in front of the shop to grab the attention of passerby, and had a big sign with "GRAND OPENING" and "See Exotic Marvels Inside" and stuff like that.

You can't just open up a shop and expect people to come on their own when they've never even heard of the place. Gotta be attention-whoring at the beginning, and then let word of mouth do the rest once you get over the initial hump at the start.

jeez, I wonder at that time how many gold and silver coins are in circulation as I don't imagine most people make 1 small gold coin a year in those times

I don't think the math adds up with that price, the price of gold per ounce (or per 28.3 grams) minimum from 2015 forward was around $1,300 (not including this year) so that means those coins are around 1/5th of an ounce (or 5.7 grams)... Unless this manga was made in 2001 which is still hard to believe because gold was still around $400 and ounce then, making the coins 1/2 of an ounce (or 14.1) grams.


Edit : Gold was $1,300 an ounce from 2010 onwards also, but 2011-2013 had gold at around $1,800 an ounce
