@Vasqueztion its a common trick adults use against children. some does it unconsciously some does it actively. but the main point is that they thought that she was a young child. 12yo max. even when a child knows they are right when they cant talk back because they are getting yelled at. and people act like their ''truth'' isnt valid.

its a way people get trick. not only children. when people lack information and the other with aggressively scold you for it. getting confused, and using the wrong words. one of those scam is the expensive vase scam. as they get others to break it. and demand compensation. in the olden times this amounts to prostitution or straight up slavery. they justify their actions with evident of that it did happen. but leave out its actual worth. or worst bribed authorities.

with that they have a legitiment claim for their action. while even uncorrupt personal are also on their side.
