Just thinking, but, wouldn't the number of elements in both worlds get skewed this way? Imagine Mitsuha bringing the shampoo and whatnot over from Earth, which effectively removes water molecules from Earth and adds into the Isekai world. Similarly if what she is using to trade for money on Earth are precious metals from the Isekai world, wouldn't this reduce the number of precious metals in the isekai world?

You're right about that but it's probably not going to be a problem if she doesn't continue it for an eternity. The scale at which she's doing it right now isn't much compared to how big planets are.

Her selling other world goods at inflated prices is quite logical. Imagine having a monopole over something and selling at a cheap dirt price. Also all the other shops would go bankrupt is she sold far more effective products as commodities instead of luxury items.

@Aichan Thanks for telling me about the typo! I went back and looked at the word, and apparently I just had a brain fart because late night + too much noise, and I picked the wrong meaning. //dead

The word used — [bouri] — can mean either usury OR excessive profits, and I think my brain was just like "I can wrap around short words right now. Short words good." XD It took some wrangling, but I've corrected the last page. <3
