@no168_92 interesting notion, but we don't have control over that. That's only because MangaDex wants to redirect readers to support the official. There is no way they would do that for scanlation teams because they'd be redirecting their own traffic.

@no168_92 I have yet to ask the MD admins, but I am almost 100% certain that the answer will be no and has always been no for scanlation group. Pardon me for going down the slippery slope argument here, but if they allow one scan group to that, then what about the rest? There's a reason why MD has not linked anyone else besides official sites (which MangaPlus very much is). In terms of redirecting traffic - MD is a large site to handle, and they have donations and different ways to participate in supporting the site. By leading traffic away from them, there would be concerns that we would cut in between this.

All in all, you are completely free to ask MD admins about their opinion on scan groups redirecting to their own sites, but I cannot foresee a future where they'll agree to requests to redirect for scan groups. The difference between us & MangaPlus is vast, and I'm really sorry that it had to come down to be this way, but our admin has made this decision so that we would reduce the damage we inflict on the official.

Using other's hard work for their own benefit and income!!

Those who also uploads unofficial English translated scans are scums!
The scanlators have to really ask (even plead or beg) for them not to upload to their personal social networking sites but for popularities sake they will do so. How shameless!

I, for one, am really grateful to those who share their hard work to us noobs who cannot read and understand hangul.
I do not have any complaints and am just really thankful for the share. I try to always appreciate what is handed since it's free.

Others.. oh well, some have so many complaints with sooooo soooo many things (like quality of translation or the story per se, etc.),
my stand is, you are just leeching off from the hard work of others, be thankful for what is given to you. If you are so 'perfect' then do your own story or just read it from its original version. No need to spread the hate and stress if you are not happy in your life

That's why scanlation groups need to either re-direct their readers on their own site or 'hide' and just share it to loyal following whom they think (and I hope) are decent enough not to make any blunders.
