maybe one last question, then how/why do they allow upload gap (days usually) have the link to the group site up but not linked specifically when the up to date chap is posted ?

why can't it be both? allow groups/uploaders to choose whether to host here and/or link to their site at the same time? maybe if they don't have a domain or personal site, and maybe offer benefits for both cases?

if you feel this doesn't really require an answer or anything, that's fine by me too... I always wanted to ask this, but don't know who/where to ask it... lol

@Duchess101 You mean the discord link? You need the discord app to open discord on your phone. You can just use a desktop to avoid downloading the app.

@nyotas hi! Yes, I'm aware. I do personally hope they continue translating their version for their readers, but we will also continue ours because one of our translators read the novel and is very interested in continuing it. There's nothing wrong with 2 groups interested in the same project!

Hello! I picked up The Villainess Lives Twice, and made it to chapter 33 where it says to use this page to join the discord group. There appears to only be a link to the website which I followed. The website says to DM people, but I don't understand how to do this on discord. All of my searching says you have to be in the same server to direct message someone; I'm at a bit of a loss on this whole process.

Also, thank you for translating this series. I really enjoy the nonesense at the end.

The process for dming on discord with no mutual servers is slightly weird - you have to send a friend request first, and if you happen to share servers, you can dm them without the other person accepting the request if their settings permit it. Otherwise, you have to wait for us to accept your request & then we'll either message you back with the link or you have to send a message asking for the link. Kind of convoluted, but that's just the way discord works.
