So the story continues...
I'm a bit confused because it seemed like the curse was ended and things returned to normal. But apparently, no.
So all the other girls are still missing and unlikely to ever come back? And the curse still continues because we still see a bunch of mermaid girls in the end. So besides breaking the mind control on those who were affected by the curse, and helping Shouko find peace in the after life, nothing else was resolved. Girls, and boys as well, will still continue to go missing when they attempt the ritual. Did I miss anything else?

I'm a bit confused as well. But, this is the way I understand it.
The curse has been ended by Shouko when she made that declaration to Shinobu. The last panel with the girls chanting the spell might just be similar to what those horror movies do when the ghost/monster does a jumpscare at the end; it's not necessarily an event after the ending. Shuutarou and the rest are still stuck in mermaid forms.
I don't think the mermaid spell will work ever again, unless another member of the Kuji family restarts the curse by accident/intentionally. That's what Shinobu was saying at the end. The curse started not because of Shouko per se, but because of her family history/ancestry. That's what Shinobu was going to investigate in the ending, as well as finding out how to bring Shuutarou and Yamaguchi back, if possible.

Thank you to the amazing scanlators who finished this series. I almost gave up guessing what the ending would have been.
