And a 10.000m moat? what's the use if a water filled 10.000m hole? If it was empty, it could be logical (can't do to the other side without falling), but filled with water? A 50 or 100m hole was more than sufficient (Middle age moat where 2 to 10m maximum, without specific pre-existing conditions)
