like even the "minor" characters we probably won't remember, especially the monsters, are so well developed. such as the vampire one from earlier with the dagger, how she was selfish and hidden the true dagger's power away, etc, like all of them have way more personality depth than most stories would bother with minor characters that we'd see for only a few chapters.
