Seichou Cheat de Nandemo Dekiru You ni Natta ga, Mushoku Dake wa Yamerarenai You Desu - Vol. 1 Ch. 1 - Even In A Different World, I'm Still Jobless

What do you mean, Oak!? In what world does that make sense? It's orc. You guys are LHtranslation, you ought to know this, you're the Isekai guys.

Yeah what the heck. Oak is the glaring flaw but there are other somewhat major mistakes in here. I swear, mangas translated by LH are a full star below what they should be because of the translations lol

its kinda shitty to set it up where he's leaving a younger sibling with no parents behind

@Metasepia there are plenty without it and they're fine. theres literally only slavery in isekai so dorks can imagine having a slave girl

@SilveSun Well, it sounded almost as if he was being taken care of by her, financially speaking. She'll probably be alright eventually.

Thanks for the chapter!
Think there's a mistranslation because I'm pretty sure LN described the first goddess as an orc, not an oak. Also, more details in LN which tells how his little sister is a brocon, did various things to support and help him, along with a few scary inferences. Not sure how but she somehow was able to successfully sort through stock trades among other things to earn enough money to live on without either of them needing to work again. Btw, he'll figure it out later but there is a difference between earning 20x the experience and only needing 1/20 the experience, especially when in a party. Will let him explain it. Also, pretty sure LN had that dark skin spear wielder give her name when they met. In any case, that crossdressing clothes seller was a hoot, although if trying to look womanly why wasn't the goatee shaved too? Also, in LN there were more bags of holding and money, along with three different colored guide books in different languages. It's explained by author who was a hero long ago that the place is one of the spots where people from another world appear the most frequently, that the bags and money are for such individuals and therefore to take only one bag and x amount of money while leaving the rest for anyone who appears later. The books in different languages give pretty much the same starting advice with only a few variances in suggestions although been a while so forgot what languages were or differences. MC could read two as one was in English and the other in Japanese. Don't think he was able to read third book.

@Xoldin It's not that he doesn't care but is very practical. He has no way to get to his own world, no way to send her a message, and currently needs to learn how to support himself. Also, he knows that she is very capable, very skilled at making money, and very organized. LN gives more details but through the stock trades and various other things had earned enough money for both of them to live comfortably for the rest of their lives without doing anything else. Only reason he was seeking a job was because he didn't want to be a worthless parasite leeching off her and to show to himself that he has the ability to care for and support his sister through his own efforts. So he will worry about her every now and then but hasn't found a way to be able to do anything much less contact her.

Are we just gonna gloss over the fact he just left his sister to die in the old world without parents or guardians of any kind?

"We aren't allowed to oppress slaves" how do you make slaves then? That's a big oxymoron.

The translation, unfortunately, is incredibly poor. It seems to remain low quality through chapter 4. Will have to drop until a better translation is available.

How about the imouto, she's just a young girl and now she has to live all on her own?
