Seichou Cheat de Nandemo Dekiru You ni Natta ga, Mushoku Dake wa Yamerarenai You Desu - Vol. 5 Ch. 20.1 - The Great Magician's Great Trick

@Curccoll Keep in mind that the entire "city" is contained on the street of just a single bridge; it reminds me of the Ponte Vecchio in Florence:

Despite how packed the place is, the bridge is only about 30m long and 32m wide. I could see 1-2 inns being there are most, but there's also cities on each side of the bridge, so there'd be inns there and it's maybe a 5 minute walk to them.

what kind of fucked up thought process is the author following, i have no idea.

Thanks for the chapter!
MC should definitely be more careful about raising flags. Surprised Carol didn't get mad too and was able to hold Haru back.

In LN novel Maria said she was a mage and MC said she was either a street magician or street performer. Also, did a trick where did accurate shooting with a bow hitting multiple hard to hit targets except for one. Another thing in LN was having trouble recalling the doves back to her after scam exposed. Her job does have a variety of skills but while can make tricks flashier and easier to perform but doesn't really raise attack power. So even though skills would make hitting monsters easier the damage would be minimal so while an archer could kill a low level monster in one shot it would take her the entire quiver assuming the monster doesn't reach and attack her first.

...What's with this author? He let that fat shit go unscathed after he caused so much shit, and now even rapistic trash gets healed from just some punches?

why heal them... sigh. Japanese authors sometimes. Is their culture really that peaceful? Those are rapists. He should have at least broken an arm.

@firosahoge @Izaya_Onisai You two are calling them rapists but the nuance seems a little different here legally speaking. They're trying to threaten someone into ordering his slaves to service them... so, extortionists? Surely they're creepy scumbags and don't deserve the healing either way though. Perhaps an extra kick in the balls now that they've already been incapacitated would've fit better.

he was obviously angry but in the end, he healed them. they weren't even severely injure what is this shit

I agree with the sentiment here. Instead of heal them it would send a bigger message to break an arm and leg of each.
