Seichou Cheat de Nandemo Dekiru You ni Natta ga, Mushoku Dake wa Yamerarenai You Desu - Vol. 6 Ch. 22 - Chasing After the Lovebirds

@Jorelm
It’s more like it’s making distinctions on the different slaveries of different cultures. It’s world building so I dig it. Slavery in isekai is normal to a degree, so if they can at least make it look thought out, I appreciate even the smallest of sentiments.

Besides, isekai where a main character can hold a harem of slaves of the opposite gender is low level fetish pandering wish fulfillment.

But you wanna know what I want? Isekai with bromance and an actually useful heroine.

@Jorelm

In many isekai, having slaves (for the MC, at the very least), is less "I have human product" and more, "I have friends and loved ones who will never betray me and will rely on me". Considering the main audience of isekai tend to be lonely shut-ins like the rest of you (har har), this is a very attractive idea. Also for the kink, but there's no shame in that. If the MC is the heroic type, they'll usually differentiate that either he treats his slaves better than everyone else - or most everyone in the region/world treats slaves very well to the point the loss of freedom isn't even worth noting.

Thanks for the chapter!
In the LN it says Marina got the job Street Performer which is a better description in my opinion considering she does magic tricks along with clothes and personality. While Clowns have flashy clothes they usually do comedy routines like the Marx brothers, cover any exposed skin with makeup, and do balloon animals. Is there a bad translation on the bounty rewards? Seems like a lot of hustle for bounties totaling $12 when that would barely cover any travel expenses much less staying in an inn. Also, isn't the currency in copper, silver, iron and gold?

Church hiding info about vampires. A church led by vampires. Won't be the first.

Is that really the last page of the chapter? It ends so abruptly.

She may be a comedic character, but everything about Marina's backstory is super depressing. (Plus all the slavery bullshit makes me want to punch someone. It's become such a lame, truly uninspired isekai cliché at this point.)

@Vignis I suppose it's not terribly different from "experiencing" someone with sight or touch. They're all just senses, so if one can be considered erotic when used the others might as well work that way too for different people with different preferences.

What is the most disappointing/disturbing thing is that the trash of a protagonist didn't even thought of trying to ask Marina if she needed help, like her getting out of slavery. (She might not be totally suffering, but it's clear she's not enjoying either being a slave and being under someones rule.) They are fellow countrymen/of same (very small) group in that other world, and it would be only logical for them to try to help each others, and even group up.

Same thing with the holy knight. It's weird how these characters don't even talk about their experiences, or try to be friendly with each others. Even the asshole of a holy knight was almost trying to murder the mc even though it was clear they were both japs. I guess less than 0.01% of the population are these wanderers, and probably not all of them are not even japanese (just a guess though).

It just makes no f-king sense for these japanese to act this way towards each others when they finally end up meeting.

Am I crazy or didn't they have different hiking shoes?

Also, why was Carol cuddled up to Ichino for sleep like Haru was?
