i never really understood why fansubs group seems to struggle internally. it's mostly a hobby, some even do it because it gives some experience with tools, right? well, good luck with your new group, but joining yet another new discord is something i'd rather not do. you could just grab a subchannel of the mangadex discord, that might suffice?

@larcek maybe because translating is actually pretty tiring, I don't know. I once translated anime, but I eventually got sick and tired of it. English is not that problematic for it because of the language having many different words for literally everything. But I was forced to rewrite many lines to actually make sense in my language, and then you have to wait for other members to keep up to your speed, and sometimes your translation even gets forgotten and people start requesting it when you had already delivered... There are a lot of problems that can leave people stressed in the process.
