Seirei-tachi no Rakuen to Risou no Isekai Seikatsu - Vol. 2 Ch. 11

I love this series man, but I couldn't help think that if there is fertilizer he can just mix in his own shit to seed the soil with microorganisms. Simply planting things in there will allow the bacteria carried by the air (which exists even in the deadest of dead places) to be nourished. Plants can grow without soil microbiota, despite it not being ideal.

It's getting better, the more the merrier, as long as it's not the harem nature.

@Shiroi_Kage He would be the one to eat it(and the spirits) and it would be embarrassing for a modern person especially Japanese much more let anyone to eat it to do not to mention Japan used to do that but due to some people suffering from parasites they discontinued. Even if there are no parasite the stigma is still there.

This is a guy that did not want to touch zombies to retrieve cores so he is the type that would not want to eat vegetables that has human feces on it. He also cherish the spirits so he would be uncomfortable letting them eat those.

Besides , the microbes needed are specifically beneficial ones and the one in human feces is not necessary the one needed and it might even cause harm as even if he is immune to it already , future non spirit residents would not be so immune. The above mention case is one since the victims are USA soldiers. Not a spoiler since they would surely add non spirit residents since it would be pointless to revive the dead lands since he appear not be immortal .Revival would end once he die of old age.

@Jeirien He must be defecating somewhere. His bowels cannot magically evacuate into the void.

As for beneficial bacteria, human feces contains tons of beneficial soil bacteria. Even human spit, for that matter. He could spit in the water before irrigating and it will introduce microbes. Similarly, he can use one of his tools to take some feces, dilute it in water, then just water the soil. Even a little will seed it.

Yeah... they are older than they look. That's the rule of spirits, you never actually know when their "Day 1" was.

slow exponential growth from here on out with the soil, as he makes more "living soil" from the dead ones, he'll have more to mix with more dead ones
