Sekai de Tadahitori no Mamono Tsukai ~Tenshoku Shitara Maou ni Machigawa Remashita~ - Vol. 2 Ch. 9 - S Rank Adventurers

Why is the MC an amateur when in the beginning his martial arts was level 88? Seems like a massive plot-hole.

Soooo...
Adventurers were about to be crushed just by dragon alone, and chapter later they are just as strong as everybody together.
Yeeeeah....
I smell some serious nerfing for drama/plot sake.

Oh no no no it’s much much worse. He’s the MC, and you pissed him off. It’ll be a miracle if we can fit this dumbass in a soup can after this fight

I wish the adventurers would get totally shredded, but that fucking blob of a priest will probably stop the fight.

Yes, accuse the MC of being a demon lord so that you feel more justified for attacking a defenseless village and using your amazing S-Rank Adventurer skills meant to save people against another human.

This series has like, no fucking nuance. What a shame, cause with the setting, it could very well have

@CraniumAmbiguity I know. It's just compared how worried they were to stand their gound against dragon alone last chapter, they are holding up pretty well so far. Last chapter just made me feel like it will be over almost in instant S rank or not. Probably just my wish to see them wiped right away made me assume that. They still should lose.

Also calling it:
Priestes will make them stop the fight and revive Chappi. In the end nobody will die and all this will have no consequences.
S ranks and MC will exchange some frowny faces, all will be forgiven. They will leave and several chapters later become MC's team rocket or best buds.

@Streoxys with this being the first instance of the title being in play, I think you're right about Chappi, but I think these three will be more serious recurring antagonists than team rocket. Well, more then Jesse, James, and Meowth.

You can't defeat him? Then that is surely, because he is the demon lord.

Yeaaa...I'm also wondering, why the author suddenly did hint, that MC is not battle hardened. All I can imagine is, that while he fought monsters secretly, so that he isn't caught being the hero, he might have avoided fighting human foes. But then again, he must have faced humanoid enemies, that would just train him in this way, see Sir Goblin.
