Not a single person has actually confirmed that he's really a Demon Lord. They're just making stupid assumptions because he's so powerful. Which is ironic, since he's so powerful because he was a level 99 Hero.
Killing his family was downright stupid, as well. All he had done was protect a village, so hadn't actually become an enemy yet. But he sure as hell has reason to now, doesn't he?
