up until this last chapter, both hero and demon lord didn't really want to fight each other, the one who really want them to fight is the fairy, they spread rumor, coerce hero to fight, baiting demon lord to fight in order to meed god, give demon lord the evil sword... yeah, the fairy is shady as fuck... never trust fairy guys...
