Is it me or does the hero and their name seem rather feminine? Also, what all occurs when one awakens as a hero much less how did the kingdom know Epona had awoken as one? Not like Epona awoke as a hero and went to the castle as it seems a squad of guards went to pick Epona up. Would be a hoot if Epona actually turns out to be a girl. If is a girl probably ordered to masquerade as a boy because of some prejudice about heroes always being men not women or some such nonsense although might be a while to find out either way. Even then won't know without a wardrobe malfunction or some activity like swimming or being in a public bath or hot spring with MC and not shy about showing chest off.

@welcome2atlantis MC mentions she uses several techniques and not just physical ability. Might even be using some magic in a couple techniques as well.

Probably has to do with the whole backwards thinking that they prefer men to carry on the family name. So they turned her into a trap?
