@kaminomikan : that depends on the rules of their world. In many settings the one who takes down the thieves owns their loot and if the original owners want it back they can negotiate a recovery fee, but that is not absolute. Plus her hiring him to clear out the bandits might throw in complications, depending on the laws as well. The part about how he can not sell the Orc's materials, and only Merchants can, does not make me think the worlds laws are very fair to the average citizen.
