Why do you guys keep doing this? Like, for series like Komi-San, you read it for volumes on end even though not much progress is actually made. For Shikimori, you cry every chapter where the focus isn’t on the main couple. And now we have a series where the MC confesses on the second chapter and you’re complaining that it’s not fast enough?
Do you just want every series to be exactly like Futari Ashita mo Sorenari ni? Because that just isn’t possible for every series. The whole premise of this series is that they’re two easily-embarrassed teenagers. That’s the reason for the title.

Who is "you guys"? Did you hear those particular persons' opinions on the other series? How do you know the good folks who criticize this series did not also criticize Komi-san for the same reasons?
You're arguing about some nebulous group of people that may or may not be present here.
Also, the fact that the MC confessed in the second chapter is of little importance when the events that follow are pretty much the exact same tropes that are used before a confession.
It renders the confession, and their status as a couple, pretty moot when it does not actually follow with scenes of an actual relationship.
Also, it progressing faster does not mean that it has to be Futari Ashita. There's a lot of wiggle room in between.
