Basically. I'm still not sure if what he felt was for the abused girl was love or simply pity. I wish he took her home and hid her or called the police or something, but alas, this is a manga

the MC ended up with Tsukimura Hikari, the originally girl he liked.
For Shirokawa Yuki, she is not a stepping stone.
It's her own initiative to help him to get with Tsukimura Hikari.
I visited (b)vatoto and someone made some translation corrections.
for example :
-MC's monologue on bottom panel page 25 said about how he felt pity on that day,
actually the monologue is about him being apathetic on that day.
even he saw her wounds, he still act like he don't care
I felt the MC realized his mistake and regret it when she already moved away and he got a letter from her.
-On page 30-31, the box that supposed to be the MC's monologue, is actually the content of the letter from Yuki itself (other than the number)
MC thought the number as provided in the letter is Shirokawa's, but it's Tsukimura's.
