Like @Qelix says, him staying faithful is fine. The real question is why, in the past month since he was first summoned, and with his x6 courage, he hasn't had a conversation with his wife? How did they even get married, if after three months they don't even see each other? He seems to care for his wife, not just remain loyal out of a sense of obligation, so why would he let things deteriorate to that degree?
