I know that my argument earlier is inefficient but it can be true along those lines if the pet were to be considered as a family, thus, making it a filial affair, but as i said debatable lmao i think I'm stretching this debatable small joke too much lol

In conclusion, i think it's fair to say that they can proclaim it as love at first sight since their philosophy or way of thinking weren't as refined like in our modern era due to their time(medieval times)
