@dharman "That one's definitely on the house, do you want a third favor?" (Personally, I wouldn't mind if she was executed for her "heresy" like she tried to do to them. What she did has got to be a capital offense in this area, since she literally tried to murder people sent by a god, after being told they were sent by a god. She adds nothing to the story, and I don't really care to read another "redemption arc for annoying companion x".)
 
My main gripe with all of this is still how they're artificially introducing technological advancements into the society with no care for the long-term impacts. I forget the exact terminology, but there's this thing where when a technology can be used for warfare it gives the possessor a massive advantage over those who lack it.

I get what her problem is. Her religion is nord so if you remove that "r" it becomes "no D". So it's a man-hating religion and anybody with a D is a heathen and to be converted means to be castrated. She wasn't trying to kill our mc but to convert him.
 
I'm sure she's a very pleasant woman as long as you don't tick one of the "this makes her instantly angry" boxes of hers. 🤣

I'm pretty sure only the girl who originally summoned him and Clara can actually summon him to make a contract, and Clara has essentially made an open ended contract with no defined length with him after the first time she summoned him.
 
Well this is really stupid and annoying. This knight apprentice tries to kill her teacher's servant 30 seconds after meeting them and everyone is like "oh man, this is slightly bothersome". They don't get mad that a noble can apparently kill anone in the street as long as they are called heretics, they don't refuse to travel with a fanatic psycho that tried to kill themm. They don't do or even feel anything.
This manga has been in a free fall in quality for far too long
 
A tad odd of a story charecter, even over zelous religious people are... less chaotic... and there reactions, while understandable in the sense of such levels of superiority that she is basically a low level threat, its still a fucking knife and she can still cut you, a tad lame but... Eh... World ending it is not
 
@Volttekka did you forget the magic cannon earlier doubt that the technology they show will dramatically change warfare in that world, the warfare in that world is still magic base and it will take years before the machine technology can be adapted to become magic base tech.
 
Why brutal murderers who kill everyone they see are not in jail? Or at least punished in some other sense? I really hate this "Oh, she tried to kill you multiple times? What? Out of nowhere? Oh well... Things happen.. Let's wait till you die to punish her".
 
Okay, so she's gay and using her religion to murder off her competition. Corruption in the church, a tale as old as time.
