If my eyes aren't playing tricks on me, the creator's using 3D modeling software to create references and draws over it.
It's for the sake of efficiency. It's probably why he usually draws in the backgrounds unlike most manga, and has a high page count.

@TitanAnteus i think i have been focusing too much on the characters, because i had not actually noticed that. But once you said it you can clearly see some backgrounds are reused and some of the buildings it is super obvious it used to be a 3d model. I don't really mind it, but I could see why people complain since those parts of the manga stands out
