I didn't realize it until now, but his friend's character design -- bald/buzzcut, serious/happy eyebrows, sunglasses-- is absolutely hilarious when you look at it next to all the people in this manga with super shiny hair or next to all the flowers/plants that look like they took more effort than 10 of him combined.

I like his design, but it just makes me laugh in context. So out of place yet so in place. The perfect stealth gag character.

I can't help but laugh at how the new volume cover makes this look like a yaoi manga.

Judging by the whistling, Komae and Kawagishi sure work fast. I thought they were trying to set Aoyama and Chiaki up at first, but it seems like there really is a "mysterious" handsome guy in the area.
