Sengoku Komachi Kuroutan: Noukou Giga - Vol. 6 Ch. 29 - Ashimitsu

@PoH idk about buses but jumping in front of a train was a commonly used enough method that there's a euphemism for it.

So this is probably uncle's original time period. His stint in the future was actually the first instance of time travel...

Wahaha, straight to the point aren't ye! Well I don't hate it.

It is a pretty good question though, this is one of the conflict that most Isekai series never really talk about

Truck kun at it again! No wait, it's bus chan! Joke aside, that bus jump really high above the road before it hit them.

It seems that the percentage for truck-kun to take you to another isekai is higher than the bus-chan it looks like it is 60-40 of the time to either take you to another world or back in time.

Truck-sama is the true deity with a 100% chance of taking you to another world. lesser deities like bus-sama aren't as powerful

Shizuko doesn't know about the mysterious person that mentioned "time bastard"?

But man, Shizuko changed so much history, modern Japan might change a lot. What if because of this, Japan have better goverment and technology to actually win WW2 for example?

@Rizkid1412 Well, seeing how Japan in this timeline is being filled with advance technology, chances are, the black ship of Perry's expedition wouldn't be as much of a threat to Japan in the future as they have more advanced technologies that the Americans, and that's assuming Japan will isolate themselves in the future of this timeline, which the different ideology, chances are, they would actively do trade with western countries (Nanban), which would prevent the expedition from happening in the first place, preventing the Meiji restoration from happening, and thus stopping the rise of militarism, and so in the end, Japan might not even participate in WW2. But hey, this is just a theory, a game theory.

What if....Shizuko herself was adopted by her parents after she time traveled to the present future as a younger child, and thus wouldn't have remembered it being so young. That would explain why her parents are so willing to take in a complete stranger carrying a deadly banned weapon in modern Japan. For all they knew, he could have been yakuza.

Also curious about the doctor's backstory and how he came to hate the police in a generally peaceful Japan. Although probably not all that difficult to imagine a decent reason, given how many times police have given people a reason to resent them in recent times.
